How These Quick References Work

Each quick-reference guide starts with the mower model first. The goal is to help you identify the correct PTO clutch path using model information when you do not already know the OEM clutch part number.

Model-specific guides may include:

  • Model number: the exact OEM model number path when available.
  • Deck size: 42-inch, 46-inch, 48-inch, 50-inch, 54-inch, 60-inch, or other confirmed deck sizes.
  • Serial or year path: production split notes when the OEM diagram shows more than one clutch or deck setup.
  • OEM PTO clutch: the clutch number shown in the model-specific diagram.
  • Superseded number: updated OEM number when the original number has been replaced.
  • Supported deck parts: deck belt, blades, spindle assemblies, idler pulleys, spindle pulleys, and deck rebuild kits when available.

Quick Reference Format

Most model pages follow a short, table-based format:

  • Quick Answer: the fastest answer for the mower model and clutch path.
  • PTO Clutch Table: model number, year path, OEM clutch, superseded number, and PTO Direct product link when supported.
  • Deck Parts Table: common deck belt, blade, spindle, pulley, and idler paths when confirmed.
  • Recommended Kit: direct link to a matching PTO Direct deck kit or PTO clutch when available.

These guides are intentionally short. They are not long troubleshooting articles or broad fitment hubs. They are built to answer one question quickly: what replacement path fits this mower?
